Since we make all of our gelato and sorbetto in-house using our own recipes, our Creation Kitchen team is able to constantly create new flavors as inspiration strikes. That’s how we have been able to develop 499 flavors in fewer than three years. Recent innovations have included Mexican Shamrock Gelato, Black Forest Berry Gelato, Smoky Almond Gelato, and Coconut Pineapple Sorbetto.
For our 500th flavor, we thought we’d ask our customers for ideas. You submitted lots of great suggestions via our Facebook Page, and we’re happy to share that we are creating Lemon Ginger Sorbetto for our 500th flavor. Thanks to Jenn from Lisbon, Maine, for the idea — a gift card and Limited Edition Flavor T-Shirt are on their way, Jenn!
Lemon Ginger Sorbetto will be available on Tuesday, July 12. With a contrasting flavor palette, it should be quite unique. (And since it’s a fruit-based sorbetto flavor, it will be naturally fat-free.) We’re already coming up with ideas for the 501st flavor!
