BRUNSWICK – Tim Higgins of Brunswick has been named general manager at The Gelato Fiasco Flagship Store. Higgins’ responsibilities will cover all aspects of the store’s operation, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team management.
“Tim brings strong experience managing teams for a successful artisanal food company,” said co-founder Joshua Davis. “More importantly, he shares our values of creativity, extreme competence, and kindness. I’m confident he will be a great leader for our Flagship Store team as we strive to knock the socks off our customers every day.”
The Gelato Fiasco uses authentic Italian methods, Maine milk, and fresh ingredients to create innovative gelato flavors from scratch. It offers a rotating selection of 30 flavors daily from a master collection of more than 600 flavors. In addition to the Flagship Store, the brand is also available at fine restaurants and select grocery stores in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
Higgins earned a master’s degree in landscape architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design and a bachelor’s degree in community and environmental planning from the University of Washington. He is also a licensed real estate agent and LEED accredited professional.
He was previously a manager for Pagliacci Pizza, a family of artisanal restaurants in Seattle, and has also worked in the landscape architecture business. He lives with his wife and children in Brunswick.
