Watch out, Iron Man. You’ve got some competition.
Tell us a little about yourself.
I play a lot of soccer – at least twice a week – along with Frisbee and rock climbing. Generally, I’m pretty active.
Where do you play soccer?
There’s a men’s league in Brunswick. I go to Goucher College, so in the fall I’ll be playing in the Maryland Majors. I’m usually a wingman or striker.
What would you want to be the official Gelato Fiasco beverage for the Maryland Majors?
Double Mocha Latte with a little bit of peppermint. The drink is hot. The peppermint cools it down. I like to mix flavors that contrast.
And if you’re ever stuck on a deserted island and can have just one gelato flavor, what would it be?
Lime. It’s nice and sweet, but it has an extra kick. The sweet and sour meld together perfectly.
If you were a superhero, who would you be?
Iron Man. He doesn’t really have superpowers. That’s what sets him apart from the other superheroes. He uses what he has – intelligence, hard work – to do what he can. That’s something that I’m capable of doing.
That’s deep. Let’s move on to your Gelato Fiasco fantasy. What is it?
Well, there’s an excellent Little Italy in Baltimore, where I go to school. I went to a place in Little Italy and tried the gelato last fall. It was terrible! I wished I could have packed up the Gelato Fiasco and opened it in Inner Harbor. We could have smoked the competition.
It could happen someday. Not moving this one – but creating another one.
I’d love it.
