Yankee, the monthly magazine devoted to New England, included our Maple Sap Tap Gelato on its list of the “five best New England maple experiences” in its March/April issue.
“One of our region’s true treasures, maple syrup is as complex and subtly variable as fine wine,” the magazine reports.
A photographer from Yankee also visited the Old Port shop and took photos of Bruno making and serving the flavor. His forearm made the magazine!
Maple Sap Tap Gelato is made with syrup from Strawberry Hill Farms in Skowhegan and pieces of our house-made maple walnut toffee.
