Gelato Fiasco Named Finalist in Business Competition

The Gelato Fiasco Viral Video

UPDATE: The public voting period has closed. Thanks to everyone who voted for our video (which you can still view on Intuit’s site). We’ll let you know if we win any additional prizes!

Dear Customers:

With your help, we have been named a finalist in the Intuit Small Business United contest! We are one of 50 businesses nationwide that will receive a $5,000 grant to help grow our company.

We also move to the next round of the contest, and we humbly ask for your help again. This time, $25,000 is at stake. We’ll use the money to expand our presence at partner stores throughout Maine. By increasing the availability of Brunswick-made gelato and sorbetto, we will build both The Gelato Fiasco and the state’s economy in the process. As you may know, we create all of our gelato and sorbetto right here in Brunswick using milk only from Maine farms.

Our entry for the grand prize is a viral video. We tried to make it both funny and heartfelt!

Will you watch it at this link, and then click on “Inspiring,” “Useful,” and “Funny” ratings? You’ll have to register upon voting, but it’s quick and easy. If you voted in the last round, we need your vote again! Like the last round, your votes are worth 40 percent of the final score. Vote today — the contest ends May 31!
