New Flavors Available

Remember our in-store Taste Test Weekend this past March? We studied the 450 ballots that customers submitted and determined which flavors held most promise. After two months of perfecting each recipe, three new flavors are available as part of our pint collection.

One is light and earthy; another is a slightly bitter and slightly sweet collaboration with one of Portland’s most celebrated coffee roasters; and a third provides a surprisingly balanced blend of strong tastes. We’re proud of the care and premium ingredients that went into developing these sophisticated flavors, and we can’t wait to share them with Gelato Fiasco fans throughout Maine and beyond. They just might become your new favorites.

They are:

Almond Butter Chocolate Chunk Gelato
Roasted almonds are even more delicious when punctuated with chocolate. We pour chocolate into cold gelato for bursts of cocoa sweetness amid smooth and creamy almond butter.

Malt Iced Coffee Gelato
Tandem Coffee Roasters is a treasure tucked into Portland’s East Bayside neighborhood (and don’t miss their new bakery in the West End). We recreate Tandem’s distinctive malt iced coffee as a slightly bitter and sweet treat. This flavor is made with Tandem coffee beans and barley malt, an ingredient in beer brewing.

Sriracha Peanut Gelato
Is it nutty, salty, or spicy? Smooth or crunchy? This captivating combination of peanut butter, sriracha, and salted peanuts will leave your taste buds crazy in love. Peanut butter is freshly ground at Whole Foods Market in Portland.
