Readers of the Portland Press Herald, Maine Sunday Telegram, Kennebec Journal, and Morning Sentinel have named The Gelato Fiasco as Maine’s Best Ice Cream Shop in the newspapers’ 25th annual reader survey. Readers chose their favorites in more than 50 categories.

“The results might steer you to places you’ve never thought about before,” the Press Herald summarized. “The winner for best ice cream, for instance, was The Gelato Fiasco in Brunswick. Maybe you’ve never thought about gelato when looking for an ice cream fix. But maybe you should.”
