More than $2,800 Scooped for Local Organizations

We’ve donated a total of $2,854.68 from our Scooping for Community Days in October and November to local non-profit organizations and school programs in the Portland and Brunswick areas. Groups mobilized their members to come out to The Gelato Fiasco to celebrate community, and we donated 100% of sales back to the group.

Organizations have included:

  • Reiche Community School
  • Sail Maine
  • Catherine McAuley Key Club
  • Catherine McAuley Social Action Group supporting supplies for U.S. troops abroad
  • Falmouth High School Project Graduation
  • North Yarmouth Academy Project Graduation
  • Midcoast Youth Theatre
  • South Portland High School Football Boosters

Thanks to each group for organizing their members and making these events a success. Here’s how these days work: non-profits mobilize their members to visit The Gelato Fiasco and make a purchase. We then donate 100% of sales back to the non-profit. It’s an opportunity for us to fulfill our mission of providing a warm, inviting places for friends and family to connect, and to give back to the cities and towns that we call home.

If your organization can mobilize at least 50 supporters and wishes to apply to participate, please email delicious@gelatofiasco.com.
