Fall Scooping for Community Events a Success

Thanks to all who have participated in our Scooping for Community events this fall. We just added up our totals for the fall, and since September, Gelato Fiasco has donated nearly $5,000 to 16 non-profit and school organizations in the Brunswick and Portland areas! With Scooping for Community events, we donate 100% of sales from an organization’s supporters on the day of their event.

These events are successful due to volunteers’ hard work in organizing their networks to come out for a night of community and gelato.

This fall’s organizations included:

  • Tedford Housing
  • Dempsey Challenge’s Team Angela
  • Friends of Kakamega
  • Iris Network
  • Portland High School Boys Soccer
  • SMCC Softball
  • Partners for Rural Health DR
  • Portland High School Sailing
  • Portland Chamber Music Festival
  • Casco Bay High School Junior Journey
  • Learning Land
  • Midcoast CA$H Coalition
  • Brunswick High School Senior Class
  • University of New England’s Phi Lambda Sigma pharmacy honor society (benefiting their charitable partnerships)
  • Portland High School Thirst Project
  • Maine State Ballet
