Cupid Strikes for Valentine’s Day
Friday, February 14, 2014
11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The Gelato Fiasco Flagship Store, Brunswick and The Gelato Fiasco Old Port, Portland
Make it a date with a selection of flavors fit for Cupid himself. Our cases on Valentine’s Day will be filled with fresh Valentine’s Day-themed gelato and sorbetto flavors in both Brunswick and the Old Port. You’ll find a sea of red, pink, white, and chocolates, along with other love- and lust-themed flavors that stretch the limits of creativity and credulity. Our stores are open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Our flavors may include:
Conversation Hearts Gelato
Before Tinder, young people exchanged sugary heart-shaped
candies to express their intentions. We throw back
to the 00s with this flavor that will make you say, “Be Mine!”
Professor Slughorn’s Love Potion Sorbetto
A fruit sorbetto brew with a magical hue;
Think twice when someone gives you a sample or a bite,
for you’ll be intensely longing for their smile all night!
Orange You Glad We’re Together? Sorbetto
An orange creamsicle sorbetto with a pun that will make
your heart swoon (or your eyes roll).
Berry Kiss Cheesecake Gelato
Our favorite cheesecake recipe
with fresh strawberries, Maine blueberries, and raspberries.
Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Gelato
Exactly as it sounds.
As fantastic as it sounds.
Red Flannel Cuddle Blanket Gelato
Delicate cream cheese gelato wrapped in
rugged red velvet cake.
Box of Chocolates Gelato
Bruno went to the CVS and loaded up on little boxes of chocolates.
He then poured them into a gelato. And it tastes so good.

Today, chocolate-covered cherry candies.
Will You Accept This Rosewater? Gelato
“Of course.” (And it’s amazing.)
Red Hots Gelato
Get the hots for these small cinnamon-flavored candies.
Raspberry Truffle Sorbetto
A hit from our Flavor Foundry Taste Test, red raspberries
with house-made chocolate truffles.
Spicy Passionfruit Sorbetto

Sugar and spice, that’s it.

But girl, tonight you look so pretty.

Calling Dionysus, the Greek god of wine and ecstasy.
Cookie Therapy Gelato
Cookies. Lots of cookies.
Better than “You Know” Sorbetto
“Truly dense, dark, OH-my-CHOCOLATE.” – Sally
Quite possibly Dark Chocolate Noir.
Valentine’s Cake Batter Gelato
Our sweet Cake Batter Gelato with extra red and pink sprinkles.
A Bee’s Aphrodisiac Gelato

(And why yes, I would feel better if you kissed my sting.)
Big County Brownie Gelato
Lauded at our Taste Test Weekend, this one sends love from The County.

Italian for kiss, the time-tested candy is wrapped in a love note.
We take dark chocolate and Italian hazelnuts and create a decadent gelato
of historic proportions.
Chocolate-Covered Banana Gelato
I Will Love Again Gelato
Suspiciously similar to Sweet Resurgam,
a flirty nod to Portland’s motto of “I Will Rise Again.”
Green with Envy Gelato
Covet the best Sicilian pistachios.
The Flagship Store will also offer several additional flavors, including Tiramisu Gelato, Innocence Gelato (known as Fresh Cream most other days), and Low Sugar Raspberry Sorbetto.
We expect continued limited availability on certain flavors on Saturday, February 15. Due to the Law of Gelatodynamics, flavor availability can never be guaranteed.
