The Chewonki Foundation in Wiscasset is celebrating their centennial during the weekend of August 14 to 16, and we will be featuring three flavors at our Flagship Store celebrate!

Switchel Sorbetto: A traditional New England thirst quencher, to be drunk while working in the hay fields. Our version is based on the Chewonki recipe. Maple syrup, lemon, ginger, and cider vinegar.

Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp Gelato featuring Salt Marsh Farm: Chewonki campers and students helped harvest and preserve these ingredients on their educational farm.

Chewonki Mint Gelato: Good ol’ mint-infused gelato using, again, produce from their farm.
