The Gelato Fiasco Flagship Store and The Gelato Fiasco Old Port
A new recipe developed by Bruno this fall, this flavor draws on the autumn tradition of candy apples and caramel apples so familiar to those of us who grew up climbing orchard trees on Sunday afternoons in New England. For this flavor, we combine tart apples and cinnamon into a creamy gelato, and top this base with crunchy English toffee, almond bits, and swirls of our house-made caramel sauce. Consistent with our ingredient philosophy, food coloring is not used. This flavor is decadent, sweet, and full of texture, and will be made Friday through Columbus Day in Brunswick and the Old Port.
