Gelato Fiasco announces new hires

BRUNSWICK, Maine – Gelato Fiasco today announced the hiring of new employees at its Flavor Foundry and Maine office in Brunswick:

Jonathan Davis has joined Gelato Fiasco as the supply chain administrator. He will be responsible for managing procurement of the high-quality ingredients needed to produce more than 12,000 pints daily at Gelato Fiasco’s Flavor Foundry for distribution to more than 5,000 retailers across the United States.

Davis was previously employed as the town administrator for the Town of West Bath, a manager for Lockheed Martin, and in private diplomatic security in Jordan and Iraq. He was a Green Beret in the U.S. Army Special Forces and is a graduate of the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center. Davis earned a master’s degree in public administration from Central Michigan University. He lives in Bath.

Jonathan T. Dyer has joined Gelato Fiasco as a quality assurance and quality control supervisor. He is responsible for designing the best-possible food safety policies at Gelato Fiasco’s Flavor Foundry, which is an FDA-inspected facility.

Dyer was previously a scientist and manager at The Alchemist, Inc., in Belgrade Lakes, and A&L Laboratory Inc. in Auburn. He has more than 30 years experience in laboratory operations and development, including designing standard operating procedures and Hazard Analysis and Critical Point (HAACP) compliance policies. Dyer earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Western New England College. He lives in the town of Belgrade Lakes.
